The IMC Days took place on 4 and 5 September as a prelude for the approximately 330 employees. The two-day event was a complete success and offered the IMC team a wealth of information, inspiration and further training opportunities that got the new academic year off to a promising start.
IMC Conference: Focus on information & inspiration
The IMC Conference on 4 September was all about ‘Information & Inspiration’. The day began with a relaxed get-together, where employees were able to get in the mood for the upcoming programme over croissants and coffee. The official programme then began, during which the university management presented the latest developments at IMC Krems.
A special highlight was the start of the new series of events ‘In dialogue with...’, in which the renowned entrepreneur Philipp Maderthaner spoke about success and motivation. The day ended with a relaxed after-work BBQ, which provided space for networking and dialogue in a relaxed atmosphere.
MehrWERT Day: training at the highest level
5 September was all about training and further education. The ‘MehrWERT Day’ started with a captivating presentation by body language expert Stefan Verra, who provided participants with valuable insights into non-verbal communication.
Over the course of the day, there was a wide range of workshops to choose from, which promoted both professional and personal development. The positive response underlines the success of the IMC Days and the high quality of the content on offer.

New degree programmes start
Starting a degree programme is an exciting time for students. The IMC Krems team takes care of all open questions so that the start of the degree programme is easy. Prospective students can choose from a wide range of degree programmes in the fields of business, health and science & technology at the university. The bachelor degree programmes Global Sustainability and Circular Business* and StartUp Management* are new additions to the range.
Internationality on site
IMC Krems is international - around the globe - and also locally. Numerous events make this internationality visible. Students come here from all over the world: students from Argentina, Costa Rica and the Philippines have chosen to come to Krems.
A warm welcome to Krems
The Welcome & Experience Fair takes place this year on 3 October and offers new students the opportunity to obtain important information about their studies and get to know their fellow students. In addition, students from higher semesters will report on their work placements.
